In autumn 2010 DIS - Danish Interpretation Systems installed a new conferencing and voting system at the Danish Parliament The system is unique in terms of the level of integration as well as the client-server/terminal server platform. All 200 seats are in LAN network and connected to terminal servers where the SW 6000 software is installed. Each seat units consists of 8" touch screen, loudspeaker, card reader, channel selector and mini-jack as well as a thinclient PC running RDC. The DCS 6000 system is fully integrated with AMX camera control system, graphics solution Vista Spider URS providing the graphics for the Parliament TV. And of course also fully integrated with the Streaming to the web. Sound is supplied to the multichannel recorder MURF, to the internal PA system and to Parliament TV as well. Two 103" Panasonic plasma screens are used for showing voting result, agenda and speakers list. New functionality and new modules to SW 6000 has been developed for this project in order to accommodate vast requirements for parliamentary operations, what should be underlined is the full integration with the user's existing document handling system -- TingDoc. In other words, all meeting data like meeting name, date, agenda, delegate information is imported to each meeting, used, amended and then exported to the TingDoc system. All this put together makes the new DCS 6000 system a state-of-the-art solution
